Can I successfully mix wool. cotton, rayon and silk fabrics on a quilt top?

Absolutely! You can combine all types of fabric. However, before mixing fabrics here are some considerations to take into account: How will the quilt be used? How will the quilt be laundered? What special piecing techniques do the fabrics require? If your quilt is an art quilt, then just about anything goes since you will only be loving it admiring the quilt. But if your quilt is to loved and USED, choose your fabrics accordingly.
